Helping communities restore and activate neighborhood anchor spaces that have experienced years of sustained disinvestment, creating places where local leaders can serve their communities.

Neighborhood Revitalization Fund Ambassadors and Launch Event Co-Hosts Tyronn Lue, Venus Williams, Serena Williams and Gerald Wallace

Tyronn Lue, Gerald Wallace, Venus and Serena Williams will serve as ambassadors for place-based investment, helping demonstrate how community infrastructure can support long-term economic mobility while encouraging other leaders to invest in the communities that helped shape them. Over time, the Fund aims to build a national network of community anchor spaces through partnerships with local leaders, athletes, entertainers, philanthropists, and community organizations committed to strengthening their hometowns.

The Neighborhood Revitalization Fund will deploy $15 million over three years to acquire, restore, and activate neighborhood anchor spaces across the country. In communities that have experienced years of sustained disinvestment, boarded up and deteriorating spaces reinforce neglect and disconnection. While funding exists for programs, operations, and large capital campaigns, there are few resources designed for neighborhood-scale revitalization projects that quickly restore and activate stable, accessible physical community spaces to learn, distribute resources and build futures. Hosted by NRF’s ambassadors and other special guests, you are invited to our launch event in Los Angeles, California at the Intuit Dome on October 17, 2026.

The evening will be a celebration of impact and partnership through music, food, drinks, art and other lively elements. We will highlight the pilot communities, announce early philanthropic and community partners, underscore the importance of place-based work, and raise additional capital to support future neighborhood revitalization projects.
